Composition: Each Ravonol film-coated tablet contains:

Excipients include: Wheat starch (Amidon), Polyvinyl pyrolidon (PVP K90), Magnesium stearate, Avicel 102, Sodium starch glycolate (DST-primojel), Hydroxypropyl methycellulose E15, Tartrazine, Polyethylene glycol 6000 (PEG 6000), Talc, Titanium Dioxide, Patent Blue.

Contraindications:
– Patients with hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the drug.
– Patients with anemia many times, have heart, lung, kidney or liver disease.
– Patients with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency.
– Patients who are taking monoamine acidase inhibitors (MAOs), selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), or other medications for depression, psychiatric or emotional disorders, or Parkinson’s disease, or have Use these drugs for 2 weeks. If you are not sure about these medicines ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.
– Children under 12 years old.
Warnings and cautions when using the drug:
– The drug must be used with caution in patients with liver failure, or with pre-existing anemia. Heavy drinking can increase the hepatotoxicity of paracetamol; should avoid or limit alcohol consumption
– The drug must be used with caution in patients with cough with excessive phlegm and they are chronic in smokers, asthma or emphysema. The patient is at risk or is suffering from respiratory failure.
Ravonol administration is associated with histamine release and should be used with caution in allergic children.
– When taking preparations containing loratadine, there is a risk of dry mouth, especially in the elderly, and an increased risk of tooth decay. Therefore, it is necessary to clean the teeth when using this medicine.
– The drug should be discontinued at least 48 hours before conducting skin testing procedures because the drug containing the antihistamine loratadine may eliminate or reduce the signs of positive skin reactions.
Abuse and dependence of dextromethorphan can occur (although rare), especially due to prolonged high doses.
– Dextromethorphan is metabolised by cytochrome P450 2D6 in the liver. Therefore, caution should be exercised in patients carrying the CYP2D6 slow metabolizer gene or using CYP2D6 inhibitors.
– Do not use for patients with wheat allergy because the drug contains wheat starch (amidon).
Use in pregnancy and lactation:
The drug should be used in pregnancy only when clearly needed. Avoid co-administration of drugs with ethanol while breastfeeding. Loratadine and its metabolite descarboethoxyloratadine are excreted in human milk. If bone therapy is required in nursing mothers, use only low doses and for short periods of time.
Effects of drugs when operating machinery: Use with caution while driving or operating machinery because the drug has a CNS depressant effect of dextromethorphan.
Adverse effects (ADRs):
Common: Usually erythema or urticaria but sometimes more severe and may be accompanied by drug fever and often mucosal lesions. Headache, dry mouth, fatigue, dizziness, tachycardia, nausea.
Uncommon: Hematopoietic disorders (neutropenia, pancytopenia, leukopenia), anemia. Kidney disease, nephrotoxicity with long-term abuse. Dry nose and sneezing.
Rare: Hypersensitivity reactions, depression. Tachycardia, supraventricular tachycardia, palpitations. Abnormal liver function, irregular menstruation and anaphylaxis. Bizarre behavior due to toxicity, CNS depression and respiratory depression may occur with high doses.
Inform your doctor or pharmacist of any unwanted effects encountered while using the drug.
Dosage:
– Adults and children over 12 years old: 1 tablet/time, 2 times/day.
– Do not use for children under 12 years old
– Other products containing paracetamol can be taken during the day, but the total daily dose of paracetamol should not exceed 4000mg (including this product) in 24 hours. Allow at least 4 hours between taking any paracetamol containing product and this product
– Should not be used with other cough or cold medicines or any other antihistamine products including topical ones.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, below 30°C, protected from light.
